Logbook Tres Hombres (July 10, 2012)


My mind got blank - the ship got loaded by Marloes

The wind blows both.
After I quit my job, I wanted to jump on board of the Tres Hombres to sail with them from Amsterdam to Fécamp. A three, maximum four day journey, but an experience. That seems months ago.
Luckily so, life is full of circumstances. I chose for sailing because I have a special love for circumstances. Even more so when they take up a conditionary role.
So you can imagine a sailing ship without an engine.. Let alone a sailing cargo ship without an engine.. The ultimate is a happy-go-lucky sailing cargo ship without an engine..
To cut a story short; my love got confirmed and this girl was being pleased. Various circumstances stretched my 3 day journey into a sea of days, weeks. Until I feel it the ocean, I remain here. It won't last long before I pick up the pen, which is then.
